The Kechau Tui Industrial Area, Lipis has been developed since 1998 with an area of 141.67 acres and is based on timber/furniture manufacturing activities. The main investor in Lipis Industrial Area is Mieco Manufacturing Sdn Bhd which officially started its operation in 2005.
Recently, a new investor began 'Wood Pellet' based activities; PIO Biomass Sdn. Bhd., which will begin operations in November 2019.
